Officers from Leicestershire Police were joined this evening by a Roads Policing Inspector from Derbyshire Police to respond to reports of car cruisers on the A511 Ashby Bypass.

The increased, high-visibility patrols appear to have had a positive impact, with the usual activity notably quieter tonight 👀

We will continue to carry out joint patrols in the area to deter dangerous driving and illegal street racing, helping to keep our roads safe for everyone.
